An American museum with a sole focus on slavery

It's called the Whitney Plantation Museum and its physical site is located west of New Orleans.
The museum chronicles the lives of the plantation owner's family and the over 100 African-American slaves who lived and worked on the Whitney Plantation.

If you can't go to visit, the museum's website has a terrific collection of essays on different aspects of slavery, the plantation's owners, and descriptions of the historic buildings on the site.

You can watch this "CBS This Morning" news report from April 2015 about the museum.
